Auditions for Roles

Rockdale Opera normally holds auditions twice yearly for Principal roles in its three productions. These are normally held in November and April of each year. Audition notices (Audition notices) will be available on this site closer to the dates as well as advertised in the Sydney Morning Herald.

All Rockdale productions are sung in English. Therefore audition pieces are to be sung in English. It is also preferred that audition pieces are taken from the work that is to be performed by the Company.

Chorus

Front of House Duties

Prior and during performances, the company is in need of volunteers to assist in Front of House duties such as ushering, serving refreshments at interval. If you are interested in assisting the Company in any of these ways, please contact us. information@rockdaleopera.com.au
